La Fiscalía General seccional Cundinamarca a través de su policía judicial CTI capturó a Luis Eduardo Mejía Acuña, procesado penalmente por el delito de acceso abusivo a un sistema informático.
Esta persona fue afectada con medida de aseguramiento en la Cárcel Nacional Modelo en Bogotá, al ser el presunto responsable de hurtar, mediante falsos cheques electrónicos y cobrados por ventanilla, la suma de 289 millones de pesos.
Así mismo, es investigado por la posible falsificación de 15 títulos bancarios con títulos gemelos, hechos ocurridos entre mayo y julio del año 2020 a una reconocida entidad financiera.
Mejía Acuña, fue capturado por orden emitida por el juzgado 67 penal municipal de garantías de Bogotá el 17 de agosto último, en la vía Sisga – Tibirita (Cundinamarca).
