Son 43 niños y niñas de zonas rurales del municipio quienes mostrarán su talento al mundo en el Europees Muziek festival Voor Dejeugd de Neerpelt Bélgica.
Los integrantes de la Banda Sinfónica infantil y juvenil de La Vega, conformada por niños entre 8 y 16 años, viajarán a Europa, con el apoyo de la Gobernación, para participar en el festival más importante de bandas juveniles denominado Europees Muziekfestival Voor Dejeugd de Neerpelt (Bélgica), que se llevará a cabo del 24 de abril al 8 de mayo de 2023, mérito que obtuvieron gracias a su talento y al haberse coronado como campeones del concurso nacional de Bandas en realizado en Paipa (Boyacá).
«Muy feliz por todos estos niños y jóvenes, feliz de ver cómo se demuestra las grandes ventajas y satisfacciones de participar en las actividades culturales; estoy convencido de que la música es una vocación y que esta experiencia es algo que jamás olvidarán, especialmente por qué muchos de estos niños no han montado en avión y ninguno había tenido la oportunidad de viajar a Europa ni salir del país, entre todos pudimos hacer realidad este sueño y nos emociona saber que nos van a representar no solo a Cundinamarca sino a Colombia, por lo que seguiremos trabajando en cultura y en su impulso a través de más niños y jóvenes con nuevas oportunidades»_, expresó el Gobernador Nicolás García.
Un sueño hecho realidad
Este proceso inició en el año 2020, bajo la dirección del Maestro Leonel Henao Ríos, quien se dio a la tarea de inculkcar en niños y jóvenes el amopr por la múscica; para el año 2021 se presentaron en las competencias departamentales ocupando el primer puesto en la categoría infantil y el aval para representar a Cundinamarca en el Concurso Nacional de Bandas en Paipa (Boyacá), logrando el primer puesto, además de galardones como premio al patrimonio y mejor instrumentista; el maestro Leonel, su mentor, destaca que muchos de estos niños fueron atraídos de las calles para dedicarse a la música y hoy su talento brilla generando nuevas oportunidades no solo musicales sino para su vida.
Para lograr esta participación se aunaron esfuerzos económicos, ya que el total de inversión es de $ 720 millones, de los cuales la Gobernación aportó $300, a través del Instituto Departamental de Cultura y Turismo -IDECUT como estímulo automático en el marco del proyecto «Sinfonía por un sueño»; la Alcaldía Municipal de La Vega les entregó estímulos por $300 millones y los padres de familia, a través de diversas actividades, recolectaron el excedente que hoy les materializa el sueño de tocar en los mejores escenarios de Europa. A esta aventura se suman algunos padres de familia quienes también pudieron viajar.
En este encuentro la gerente del Idecut, Luisa Fernanda Aguirre exaltó la labor cultural de estos jóvenes artistas “Gracias por soñar, por crear y hacerlo realidad. Hay que unir esfuerzos y este viaje nos unió a muchos colombianos y cundinamarqueses, ustedes son el referente de que cuando uno quiere puede y desde el arte se puede lograr grandes cosas; gracias por representar lo mejor de Cundinamarca y del país”, afirmó. Vale destacar que esta agrupación tiene una trayectoria de más de 40 años, que a través del tiempo ha contado con un sin número de procesos y generaciones, gestando un arraigo musical en la comunidad.
