El jueves 29 de junio se llevó a cabo un megaoperativo en el sector de San Victorino, ubicado en el centro de Bogotá. Las autoridades realizaron allanamientos en diversos locales en busca de contrabando.
San Victorino es reconocido como uno de los lugares comerciales más importantes del centro de Bogotá. A diario, cientos de comerciantes acuden a esta zona para adquirir diversos productos, pero también es conocida por ser un foco de inseguridad.
La Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (Dian) y la Policía Fiscal y Aduanera (Polfa) llevaron a cabo la búsqueda de mercancía de contrabando en la zona, donde se realizan inspecciones de manera periódica.
Según información preliminar, desde la 5:00 a.m., las autoridades ocuparon ocho bodegas en el sector. Los comerciantes de San Victorino expresaron su sorpresa ante este operativo y manifestaron que están confiscando mercancía sin la presencia de sus propietarios.
Uno de los comerciantes declaró: «Nos informaron que el Escuadrón Móvil Antidisturbios (Esmad), la Polfa y la Dian llegaron a desocupar las bodegas. Estas bodegas sustentan a muchas familias. Las desocuparon. Queríamos demostrar la legalidad de la mercancía, pero no nos lo permitieron».
Según los comerciantes, las ocho bodegas fueron completamente desalojadas. Mientras la entidad revisa, basándose en denuncias, los dueños de la mercancía alegan que no se les brinda la oportunidad de demostrar su legalidad.
Los hechos se desarrollan en varios centros comerciales de San Victorino, principalmente en los ubicados en la calle 11 con carrera 10 y en la calle 10 con carrera 10.
La Polfa confirmó que el operativo se está llevando a cabo en la localidad de Los Mártires. Consiste en la visita a establecimientos comerciales y bodegas utilizadas para el almacenamiento y comercialización de mercancías.
El Coronel Heinar Giovany Puentes Aguilar, Director de Gestión de la Polfa, declaró: «Gracias a la información suministrada por la ciudadanía a través de la línea anticontrabando 159 y a las labores de verificación de nuestros funcionarios de policía judicial, hemos logrado incautar una gran cantidad de elementos como textiles y bisutería en estos establecimientos, los cuales no contaban con los documentos que acrediten su legal ingreso al país».
