El mandatario Nicolás García Bustos y el director general del Instituto Nacional de Vías, INVÍAS, Juan Esteban Gil Chavarría, realizaron una visita de inscripción a la construcción de la doble calzada Zipaquirá – Ubaté – Chiquinquirá que conecta a los departamentos de Cundinamarca y Boyacá, con una inversión departamental de $225 mil millones y nacional de $525 mil millones.
“Queiro agradecer al INVÍAS la capacidad de poder escuchar nuestras necesidades y materializarlas en obras. Está es una vía que mejorarán la movilidad de este sector, la cual incluye un tramo de bicicarril que garantizará el traslado de los biciusiarios. Gracias al trabajo mancomunado, las obras se entregarán un año antes de lo pactado”, afirmó el Gobernador Nicolás García.
Esta obra sin duda mejorará la movilidad y seguridad vial de los transportadores que se trasladan desde el centro al norte del país, lo que dinamiza la comercialización de productos locales.
Juan Esteban Gil, director del INVÍAS, aseguró que esta es otra de las apuestas del Gobierno nacional por impulsar la reactivación económica del país, esta vez en el centro de Colombia. “Con la ejecución de este proyecto ratificamos el compromiso con la comunidad pues está construcción les ofrece una vía con altos niveles de servicio de operación al reducir los tiempos de recorrido y aumentar la seguridad vial”, dijo.
