Esta banda venía realizando extorsiones en distintos municipios del departamento de Boyacá y había logrado que varias víctimas le entregaran millonarias sumas.
El Gaula de la policía de Boyacá, capturo en Soacha Cundinamarca a tres mujeres de 24, 56 y 65 años y a un hombre de 62 años de edad quienes a través de las redes sociales se ganaban la confianza de sus víctimas, obteniendo fotografías íntimas, las cuales utilizaban para extorsionarlos.
Cinco víctimas que consignaron alrededor de 30 millones de pesos instauraron las denuncias, que se constituyeron en un aporte fundamental para la identificación de estas personas.
«Así se logró que el proceso investigativo fuera exitoso y permitiera la ubicación de estos individuos, quienes fueron puestos a disposición de la Fiscalía por el delito de extorsión», indicaron en la Policía.
