El hombre trasladó al niño a un centro asistencial con el supuesto de que había perdido la consciencia luego de caer por las escaleras.
La Fiscalía General de la Nación presentó ante un juez de control de garantías a un hombre señalado de golpear a su hijo de cuatro años y causarle la muerte, en hechos ocurridos el pasado 28 de febrero, en el sur de Bogotá.
Esta persona llevó al menor de edad al Hospital Vista Hermosa, ubicado en la localidad Ciudad Bolívar, y manifestó que había se había caído por las escaleras. Ante esta versión, el personal médico ingresó al niño a una sala de reanimación, pero murió ante la gravedad de las heridas.
En el cuerpo de la víctima los especialistas encontraron rastros de violencia intrafamiliar. El Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal y Ciencias Forenses señaló que las lesiones encontradas no eran compatibles con una caída de altura o por escalera, y que correspondían a un patrón de violencia de origen contundente, es decir golpes. El informe pericial detalló que esto ocasionó el fallecimiento.
El padre del menor de edad fue capturado por unidades de la Policía Nacional. Un fiscal de la Seccional Bogotá le imputó el delito homicidio agravado. El procesado no aceptó los cargos y deberá cumplir media de aseguramiento privativa de la libertad en centro carcelario.
