Una investigación durante 5 meses, permitió la desarticulación del grupo delincuencial “Los Cuatreros”, dedicados al delito de abigeato bajo la modalidad de “carneo”, quienes venían afectando a los campesinos de los departamentos de Boyacá, Cundinamarca, Santander y Meta.
Durante esta operación se logró la captura de 9 personas por orden judicial Los capturados se dedicaban al delito de abigeato bajo la modalidad de “carneo”, la cual consiste en sacrificar los semovientes en su lugar de pastoreo y posteriormente despostarlos para hurtar su carne.
Dentro de la investigación se pudo establecer que estos delincuentes cada 3 días salían a realizar su actividad criminal, escogiendo un departamento diferente cada vez que iban a delinquir, con el fin de evitar el cerco de las autoridades. En algunos de los casos despostaban los semovientes con crías en su vientre. Los sujetos hurtaban ganado vacuno, lo sacrificaban y los desmembraban en el mismo sitio, para trasportarlo a establecimientos comerciales en Bogotá y Soacha en Cundinamarca.
La Fiscalía y la SIJIN de la Policía lograron establecer que los hurtos cometidos por esta red ascendieron a 337.500.000 pesos.
Dentro del desarrollo de esta operación se adelantaron 8 diligencias de registro y allanamiento en las localidades de Ciudad Bolívar, Bosa, Usme y Santa Fe en la ciudad de Bogotá y en la localidad de Cazucá y barrio Ducales del municipio de Soacha, logrando la captura de 9 personas por orden judicial, quienes deberán responder por los delitos de concierto para delinquir y abigeato con circunstancias de agravación punitiva, cada uno de los cuales cumplía un rol específico dentro del grupo delincuencial.
Durante las diligencias fueron incautados cuatro vehículos, entre los que se cuenta un furgón; tres cuchillos, 11 celulares, un arma traumática, nueve cartuchos de distintos calibres, 11 celulares y cerca de 4 millones de pesos en efectivo.
Así mismo, registran 18 sentencias condenatorias por los delitos de abigeato, hurto calificado y agravado, porte ilegal de armas de fuego, secuestro extorsivo, tráfico de estupefacientes y homicidio en grado de tentativa
Por lo anterior un fiscal adscrito a la Unidad Especializada de Apoyo de la Seccional Boyacá, imputó a los procesados los delitos de abigeato agravado y concierto para delinquir. Un juez con función de garantías los privó de la libertad en establecimiento carcelario.
