Gracias a la oportuna alerta de los ciudadanos, el presunto agresor fue arrestado en flagrancia.
Luego del valorar el material probatorio presentado por la Fiscalía General de la Nación, un juez penal de control de garantías impuso medida de aseguramiento privativa de la libertad en centro carcelario a Daniel Esteban Torres Barrios, como presunto responsable de agredir sexualmente a una menor de edad en un bus de Transmilenio.
Los hechos investigados ocurrieron el pasado 23 de mayo, en inmediaciones de la estación Escuela Militar, en la localidad de Barrios Unidos, en el occidente de Bogotá. El hoy procesado se habría acercado a una adolescente de 15 años que viajaba en el automotor y ejercido varios compartimiento en contra de su formación sexual, mientras utilizaba palabras obscenas.
El señalado atacante, al parecer, le rompió el vestido a la víctima y le ocasionó una lesión en un dedo. Los demás pasajeros se percataron de lo que sucedía y alertaron a las unidades de la Policía Nacional que recorren el sistema de transporte masivo.
Torres Barrios fue capturado en situación de flagrancia y un fiscal de la Seccional Bogotá le imputó el delito de acto sexual violento. El cargo no fue aceptado.
